The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team fell to the Floydada Lady Wind on Saturday, 22-0.
With the loss, the Nettes fall to 1-9 overall on the season.
Floydada opened the game with a five-run bottom of the first, and added six runs in the second and eight runs in the bottom of the third inning. They also pushed three runs across in the bottom of the fourth inning, before closing out the game on defense in the top of the fifth inning.
The Nettes hosted Ralls on Tuesday. Results were not available at press time. They will host New Deal on Saturday, as the season continues.
First pitch is scheduled for 11
