County now has 40 COVID-19 cases

Lamb County Judge James Mike DeLoach has reported the numbers of COVID-19 cases in Lamb County, as of 9:33 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020.

“We have not received confirmation from DSHS on any cases tested after Dec 24th,” he said.

The number of recoveries is now at a total of 1,309, which is compared to the 1,295 patients who had recovered by last Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020.

There are now only 40 active cases in the county, which is decreased from the 45 cases that were active a week ago.

The Amherst community is reporting seven cases, which as increased from four cases reported last week.

Earth now has one case, which is a gain from no cases reported last Tuesday.

Littlefield is reporting 29 cases, which is a drop from the 32 reported last Tuesday.

Olton is reporting only two cases, which shows a drop from seven a week ago.

The Spade Community is free of any cases, which is down from the one person who was reported with it last week.

Sudan cases have fallen to no cases reported, which is down from the one case reported last week.

Springlake had no cases reported last week, but now has one case, as of Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020..
