Lamb County Judge James M. DeLoach has released the new information concerning the county’s COVID-19 Pandemic cases.
As of Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 11:37 a.m., there had been 1,083 recoveries since the pandemic began. Last Tuesday, Dec. 8, there had been 1,029 recoveries reported, so people are continuing to defeat the virus.
There are 201 active cases in the county, which are an increase from last week’s 178 cases.
There have been 38 deaths, as of the Dec. 15 report, which is three more than last week’s 35.
Some of the Lamb County communities have seen decreases in the cases, while a few have reported increases.
Amherst now has 20 cases, which is an increase from last week’s 18.
Earth now has 10 cases, which is a decrease from the 13 reported last week.
Littlefield’s 126 cases are increased from the 110 reported last Tuesday.
Olton’s 19 cases last week have increased by 10 cases to the current 29 cases.
Spade is now reporting two cases, which have doubled from the one case reported last Tuesday.
Sudan’s 14 cases have decreased from the 16 reported last Tuesday.
