The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team took down the Lockney Lady Horns on Dec. 8th, 75-44.
With the win, the Nettes improve to 3-7 overall on the season.
The Nettes jumped out to a, 19-11, lead through the first frame and they netted 22 points in the second quarter to take a, 41-22, lead into the locker room at halftime.
They poured in 22 points in the third quarter and added 12 points in the fourth quarter to close out the contest, 75-44.
Junior, Addison Boehning, led the team in scoring with a gamehigh 37 points, to go along with five rebounds, four steals and one assist. Sophomore, Gracyn Shultz, tallied 13 points, nine assists, seven rebounds, four steals and two blocks, while junior, Liz Sital, chipped in seven points, four rebounds and four assists.
Sophomore, Braelyn Pointer, tallied seven points, five rebounds and one steal, while sophomore, Sydnie Cornelius, contributed six points, three rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block.
Sophomore, Elaine Martinez, tallied five rebounds, three points and three assists, while senior, Zoey Cantu, finished with two points, one rebound and one assist. Sophomore, Landree Gonzales, added three rebounds, while sophomore, Kambry Tolbert, chipped in one steal and Riley Edens finished with three rebounds and one assist.
