Littlefield’s City Council conducted a regular business meeting Monday evening, Nov. 2, 2020, and after spending most of the meeting in executive session, the council took no action after the regular session was re-opened.
All of the Council members were present for the meeting, with the exception of Mayor Eric Turpen, who was unable to attend.
Other city officials there were City Manager, Mitch Grant; City Secretary, Janine Butler; Treasurer, Andrew Eisenwine; City Attorney Slater Elza; and one city staff member. Two others were in the audience.
With the absence of the mayor, Mayor pro tempore Michael Rangel called the meeting to order at 6 p.m., then gave the invocation; and led the Pledge to the U.S. flag.
