Patty Newsom, 95, of Littlefield, TX passed away on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026. She was born onFeb. 20, 1931, in Prairie Hill, TX to James Lawrence Hargrove and Hazel ‘Pauline’ Hargrove (Power).
Patty married Dale Newsom on March 3, 1948, in East Texas. They had five children. Patty was a brilliant businesswoman. She was hardworking and owned her own café called Deluxe Café in Sudan, TX for many years. Patty also sold Avon for many years. She raised Boston Terriers and enjoyed reading.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, at Union Cemetery Chapel. Visitation willbe at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, at Union Cemetery Chapel. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas.
