Alicia Gonzales Sanchez, 90 of Littlefield, Texas passed away on September 2,2026 in Lubbock, Texas. She was bom on September 19, 1935 in Sabinal, Texas to Guadalupe and Andrea S. Gonzales. Funeral Services were held on Friday September 18,2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Littlefield. Officiating the service was Rev. Jeff Church and music was by Joe Flores. Interment followed in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Littlefield.

Alicia, attended school as a young girl in Sabinal. She met the love of her life, Jose Y. Sanchez in Sabinal, where they were married on January 27, 1952. They were blessed with a precious little girl from this union. They moved to Littlefield from Sabinal, Uvalde County in 1957 where they made it their home until present time. Alicia worked for Littlefield Cleaners for over 35 years. Her hobbies were cooking, seamstress and sewing for her family. Enjoyed going dancing with her husband Jose and having a night cap or two before bedtime. Also, spending quality time with her family and friends. She was also known by her nick name “MaMo” in Littlefield and she always wore a smile. Alicia was a life time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Littlefield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Andrea S. Gonzales; her husband, Jose Y. Sanchez; her daughter, Eliamar Torres; her grandchildren, Melissa Rangel and Brandon Torres; her sister, Guadalupe Gonzalez-Alvarado ; and her brother, Ruben Gonzales.

Alicia is survived by her grandchildren, Valerie Rangel (Gilbert Muniz) of Littlefield and Zackary Torres of Lubbock; her sisters, Maria Juarez, Rosalinda Rodriguez, and Ermandina (Asuncion) De L a Pena, all of Sabinal; her brothers, Roy (Janie) Gonzales of Sabinal and Esmeraldo (Lecho) Gonzales of Littlefield; her great-grandchildren, Juan and Judith Hernandez, Elijah and Daniella Hernandez, Brandon Rangel, Christina (Aaron McDaniel) Zamora, and Jaime (Starr Rios) Zamora, all of Littlefield, and Tricia Marie Torres, Alyssa Ann Torres, and Meliah Toni Torres, all of Lubbock; her great-great-grandchildren, Evangelina Hernandez, Kai Hernandez, Sophia Ann Hernandez, Katelyn Hernandez, Davarien McDaniel, Kaizen McDaniel, Iris Brielle Renee Zamora, and Jamiee Skaii Ann Zamora, all of Littlefield; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and loved ones who will cherish her memoiv.

Pallbearers were Michelle Tijerina, Jessie Juarez, Paul Longoria, Gilbert Muniz, Chris Aguilar, and RayLouis Montoya.

Arrangements were under the compassionate care of Head Duarte Funeral Home and Staff in Lcvclland.
