The 1st ever Olton High School BBQ Team, Mustang Pit Crew, proudly competed at the State BBQ Competition and represented our program with hard work and dedication!
Competitions were against 92 other BBQ Teams!
Zakry Rios placed 25th in Dessert and 55th in Beans. Nathan Craig placed 30th in Chicken.
Paytn Jimenez placed 19th in Ribs.
Emmitt Nelson placed 54th in Brisket.
A special shoutout to Cadon Garcia, our BBQ fireman, for keeping the pits going strong and supporting the team every step of the way!
All categories take teamwork, and this group showed exactly what it means to work together under pressure, support one another, and represent Olton with pride.
We are so proud of their effort, teamwork, and growth throughout this experience. Way to represent Olton!
