Sudan High School earns fourth consecutive UIL District Champion title

On March 26, 2026, 60 Sudan High School students competed in the UIL District Academic competition in Hale Center, collectively earning their fourth consecutive district championship title.

In total, students scored 868.7 points, a record-breaking score compared to previous competitions.

“This is so impressive, as this is a very young team,” Jonathan Robertson, one of the academic coaches, said. “I can’t wait to see what they do at Regionals.”

Coached by Elizabeth Dugan, accounting students earned the following placements: Dani Ramirez, fourth; Aspen Reyher, fifth; and Kooper Edwards, fifth.
