Sudan High School student council officers attended the Texas Association of Student Councils conference in San Antonio from March 28 through the 31, earning the ‘outstanding council’ title and sweepstakes of excellence.
“I’m beyond proud of this special group and the entire council that made all of this possible,” Elizabeth Dugan, the StuCo sponsor, said. “It’s an honor to be their sponsor.”
Adorning custom shirts honoring their sponsor, ‘Mrs. Dougie’, students received the opportunity to hear from keynote speakers and enjoy time in San Antonio. Additionally, they dedicated time to donate $500 a significant campaign of their choice, Nickel from Nicole.
