Happy March everyone!
Before we head into March, we would like to say a few quick words to our patrons.
We are beyond grateful to our community for their love and support, not just to the library, but to us, your friendly librarians, as well. Last night, Selena Ramirez and Ambrosia Simpson were named Women of the Year by Littlefield’s Chamber of Commerce. What a humbling experience. We strive to maintain a servants heart as we provide our county with the best resources, knowledge and adventures in the shape of books. It is through our phenomenal patrons that we are able to do what we love.
Thank you, Selena & Ambrosia We have a fun filled month ahead of us as we kick off into spring. Join us Thursday, March 5th as we read “A Rainbow of my Own”, followed by creative painting of our own rainbows.
March 12th, we will be reading “Spring Is...” and making colorful wind tunnels.
Thursday, March 19th, will begin our Annual Gently Loved Book Sale. All proceeds will go back into your library for programming needs. We will also be celebrating Mr. Rogers birthday, a literary icon, who taught kindness and compassion. We will have a birthday cake provided by Pure Cravings Cakery. Ms. Anita is an amazing baker and is always willing to donate her delicious cakes and cupcakes to the library. We are so thankful. Our book sale will continue until Saturday, March 21st, with special hours of 1 pm until 4 pm, so that we may host an Ice Cream Social. Stop by for a sweet treat while you shop for your next read!
Thursday, March 26th, we will be reading “Grumpy Monkey, Spring Fever” and making flowered monkey masks.
Our book sale is priced to sell with a special Friday Flash Sale, so stop by help us keep our programs running for our community.
Happy Spring!
