In Loving Memory Of Alice Janette Sell

Alice Janette Sell, 83, of Littlefield, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, in Littlefield, Texas. She was born on February 21, 1942, in Littlefield, Texas to Walter and Lillian Hill.

Born and raised in Littlefield, Alice went through the Littlefield Independent School district and graduated in 1960. She had four brothers and two sisters. Alice fell in love and married her soulmate, G. Roger Sell. Together, they had two sons whom they adored. Their family expanded with the addition of their grandchildren and their great-grandchildren. Alice made the most of her time putting her hands to work. She was formerly a bookkeeper. Alice was a woman of service and taught Sunday school for several years. In addition to that, she also conducted literacy classes that helped many, including those at the county jail.

She was a member of the Littlefield Methodist Church. Alice had a passion for sewing and took part in a sewing group at her church. Knitting, and crocheting were hobbies of Alice's that allowed her to pour her love into tangible objects. She was generous with her time and talents. Alice sewed dresses for girls in Haiti. Her acts of selflessness will forever be remembered. Alice had a small business that helped people with claims for medical insurance. She had many jobs and volunteering positions and devoted her best efforts to all. When she was not volunteering or making something by hand, Alice could be found captivated in a good book.

Those left to cherish her memory are husband, G. Roger Sell; two sons, Scott Sell of Austin, Texas, and Stan Sell and wife, Debbie Loomis of Plano, Texas; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers, Walter Hill, Luther Hill, William Hill, and Ronald Hill; and her two sisters, Ruth Mansfield and Marilyn Meriage.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lillian Hill.

Family will receive family and friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas.
