The 2026 General Primary Election will be held on March 3, 2026. Early voting begins February 17, 2026, and continues until February 27, 2026.
This election primarily concerns voting for which Republican or Democratic candidates will represent federal officers and Members of the State Legislature; as well as electing district, county and precinct chairs, and adopting or rejecting proposed ballot propositions in respective counties.
Applications for voting by mail shall be mailed to the Early Voting Clerk, Rene Trevino, at 100 6th Drive, Room 103, Littlefield, Texas 79339. Applications for voting by mail must be received no later than the close of business on February 20, 2026. Federal Post Card Applications must be received no later than the close of business on March 4, 2026.

The last day to vote by mail is Tuesday, March 3, 2026, Election Day, at 7:00 p.m., if the carrier envelope is not postmarked; or Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. if the carrier envelope is postmarked by 7:00 p.m. at the location of the election on Election Day.
In-person early voting will be conducted from February 17 through February 27, 2026, at the Lamb County Courthouse in Room 103, County Clerk’s Office. The courthouse is located at 100 6th Drive, Littlefield, Texas 79339.

Friday, February 27, 2026 – 7 a.m. to 7 pm.
All Election Day polling locations will operate from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on March 3, 2026.
The polling place for precincts 1 and 5 will be at the Olton Community Building (Lion’s Club), located at 406 2nd Street, Olton, Texas 79064.
The polling place for precinct 3 will be at the Earth Community Center, located at 1st and Birch Streets, Earth, Texas 79031.
The polling place for precincts 4 and 11 will be at the Sudan Community Center, located at 109 East 1st Avenue, Sudan, Texas 79371.
The polling place for precincts 2, 6, 8 and 9 will be at the Lamb County Ag Center, located at 1095 E. 17th Street (17th and Hall Avenue), Littlefield, Texas, 79312.
The polling place for precinct 10 will be at the Amherst City Hall, located at 1011 Main Street, Amherst, Texas 79312.
The polling place for precinct 12 will be at the Springlake First Baptist Church Youth Building, located at 213 US Highway 70, Springlake, Texas 79082.
