Dorothy Crain, 74, of Lubbock, TX, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, in Lubbock. She was born on Dec. 30, 1950, in Littlefield, TX to Jimmie and Lora Mae Bass.
Dorothy graduated from Sudan High School in Sudan, TX. She went on to marry Mike Crain, on July 19, 1973, in Littlefield. Mike and Dorothy made their home in Amherst, TX. They were blessed with a son and daughter. Dorothy enjoyed shopping, camping and spending time with her family. Dorothy spent 35 years working at the First National Bank in Amherst. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband; a son and his wife; a daughter, and her husband; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers; and a sister.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister.
Graveside service for Dorothy Crain was held Tuesday morning, December 23, 2025, at Fairlawn Cemetery in Amherst, with Dale Turner officiating and Scott Bass assisting.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas.
