Douglas Fay Gilbert, age 58, of Manor, TX, passed away on Sept. 15, 2025. He was born on Aug. 25, 1967 to Jim B. and Billie Gilbert.
Doug attended Littlefield Public schools and graduated in 1985. He then attended Texas Tech University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in International Finance. He enjoyed following the stock market and making trades. He enjoyed fishing most of all. Doug worked with his dad in the summers at the Texas Highway Department. He learned quickly he was not cut out for hot summers. He worked for I. G. Tech Corporation in Austin, Texas for 20 years.
Doug is survived by his mother; sister; as well as numerous friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; and grandmothers.
There will be no formal funeral services.
