Eva Ugarte Gonsalez, 78, of Littlefield, formerly of California, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025 in Littlefield. She was born June 17, 1947 in Juarez, Mexico to Mario and Eva Ugarte.
Eva married Miguel Gonzales in 1969 in Reno, Nevada. They lived in California before moving to Texas two years ago to be closer to a couple of their children. She had a flair for style, particularly when it came to her hair. Eva was also an excellent cook and a talented seamstress. She was a strong Christian woman. She enjoyed sharing stories and showing her family pictures from the past.
Eva is survived by her husband; three daughters and two son-inlaws; two sons and one daughter-in-law; 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters; and a brother.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025 at Grace Chapel in Littlefield with interment to follow in Littlefield Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning until service time. Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
