Producers, landowners, conservationists, and curious community members are invited to an Industry Tour at Bamert Seed in Muleshoe on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event is free to attend, open to everyone, and includes a complimentary lunch provided by Bamert Seed.
Hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service offices in Castro, Hale, and Lamb County, this tour will showcase one of the region’s most unique agricultural businesses.
Bamert Seed has decades of experience in producing and processing high- quality native grasses and wildflowers. Tour participants will step behind the scenes to see in-field production, explore the seed bagging facility, and gain firsthand knowledge of how the company develops customized “prescriptions” for native restoration. These prescriptions match site goals, soils, and regional conditions with appropriate native species, helping land managers improve rangeland health, reduce erosion, enhance wildlife habitat, and restore degraded acres.
