Commissioners hold regular meeting Monday

The Commissioners Court of Lamb County, Texas, convened in Regular Session on Monday, August 4th, at the Lamb County Courthouse in Littlefield, Texas, to discuss a six-item agenda.

This meeting was called to order at 9:02 a.m. by Lamb County Judge James DeLoach and there was nobody present for public comment.

Consent Agenda a) Consider and take appropriate action on minutes from previous meeting(s); none were presented. b) Consider and take appropriate action on budget and salary amendments and/or line-item transfers; none were presented. c) Consider and take appropriate action on bills presented by the County Auditor; County Auditor, Gina Jones requested that the Commissioners approve bills totaling $945,636.19. d) Consider and take appropriate action on payroll; County Treasurer, Jerry Yarbrough requested that the Commissioners approve payroll for Lamb County ending on July 25th in the amount of $166,841.82 and for LHC ending on July 26th in the amount of $233,554.14. e) Consider and take appropriate action on departmental reports; none were presented.

The motion was made by Commissioner Lee Logan and seconded by Commissioner Danny Short to approve the Consent Agenda. The motion carried.

Future Agenda items were discussed.

During the budget work session a general overview of the budgets was given.

With no further business to discuss a motion was made by Commissioner Logan and seconded by Commissioner Short. The motion carried and the meeting was adjourned at 9:34 a.m.
