ROB NORRIS

Rob Norris, 73, of Springlake, TX, died Thursday, July 31, 2025. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, at Springlake First Baptist Church with Mr. Joe Chambers officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Rob was born July 11, 1952, in Colorado Springs, CO, to Lewis and Dorothy (Goss) Norris. He graduated from Mitchell High School in Colorado Springs in 1970. A gifted musician with a heart for ministry, Rob traveled with the Christian music group The Jeremiah People, where he sang and played bass.

He attended Northern Colorado University before transferring to Southwest Baptist University, graduating in 1976. He went on to earn his Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1979.

Rob dedicated his life to ministry, faithfully serving in churches and mission fields across the country and abroad. He later served as Director of Missions for the Denver Southern Baptist Association for seven years and, for the past eleven years, was pastor of Springlake First Baptist.

On Feb. 19, 2011, Rob married Judy Williams. He had a great sense of humor. He was passionate about music and loved to sing. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Colorado teams. He enjoyed playing golf and watching just about any sport, reading, traveling, and taking road trips.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife; two sons; two daughters; three bonus sons; one brother, and his brother; five grandchildren; two nephews; and two nieces.
