Littlefield Police Department excutes Operation: Midnight Sun, resulting in 12 arrests

Littlefield Police Department hosted Operation Midnight Sun, which stemmed from a join criminal investigation into a series of violent crimes, gang violence, and narcotics trafficking within the City of Littlefield.

The Investigation was conducted between the Littlefield Police Department, Texas Anti-Gang (TAG) Center of Lubbock, Lamb County and District Attorney’s Office, and Texas DPS Criminal Investigations Division.

On July 17, 2025, Littlefield Special Response Team (SRT) and Lubbock County SWAT executed search warrants on two residences related to narcotics trafficking within the City of Littlefield.

The following subjects were arrested during operation Midnight Sun: Richard Lee Phergson, Man./ Del. of a CS PG1, 4<200g 1st Degree Felony; Reynaldo Rendon Jr., Man./ Del. of a CS PG1, 4<200g 1st Degree Felony; Kody Wayne Johnson, Man./Del. of a CS PG1, 200<400g 1st Degree Felony; Michael Paul Lopez Jr, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity 1st Degree Felony; Javier Ornelas, Man./Del. of a CS PG1, 1<4g 2nd Degree Felony, Felony Theft — Cochran Co.; Jesus Ramirez, Man./Del. of a CS PG1, 200< 400g 1st Degree Felony; Stephanie Montiel, Man./Del. of a CS PG1 4<200g 1st Degree Felony; Josephine Nieto, On-View Hindering Apprehension Of Know Felon 3rd Degree Felony; Alexander Sierra, Poss. CS PG1, 4<200g, Felon in Pos. of Firearm, On-View Poss. CS PG1, 4< 200g; Christina Zamora, On-View Man./Del. of a CS PG1, 4< 200g 1st Degree Felony; Michael Rober Kershaw-Flores, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity 1st Degree Felony; Antonio Christian Hinojosa, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity 1st Degree Felony.
