April is National Poetry Month, and we will be celebrating, once again, with our Pickles for Poems event. Any child who comes in and reads aloud a poem to a librarian will receive a large dill pickle. The poem may be from a book found in the library, their favorite poem from memory, or they may write their own new poem. We hope to continue this for the entire month, or till supplies last.
On Thursday, April 24th, we will have kids’ spring crafts from 6 to 8 p.m. This is a come-andgo event. Kids come to make their crafts and are free to go once they are done.
We are planning our Summer Reading Program for June 2025 and have tons of fun activities at the works.
Additionally, the library will be closed on April 18 and 19.
