Ed Dabrowski wins 2025 Big Bracket Challenge

The Lamb County Leader-News’ Big Bracket Challenge has come to a close with the conclusion of the Final Four and National Championship Game.

In the Final Four, Florida edged out Auburn, 79-73, and Houston rallied back late in the game to take down Duke, 70-67.

In the National Championship Game, Florida edged out Houston, 65-63, at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

The Final standings for the Big Bracket Challenge are as follows: Ed Dabrowski takes this year’s contest with a mark of 173 points.

Finishing second this year was Lonnie Neinast with 148, while Teresa Dabrowski finished third with 135 points. JD Pence finished with 127 points, while Tammy McDaniel finished with 121 points and John Hernandez finished with 118 points.

Danny Sanders finished with a mark of 117 points, while Sheryl Sanders finished with 116 points, and Sheryl Lewallen finished with 115 points. Ben Eastepp tallied 114 points, while Michael McDaniel and Tim Walker each finished with 113 points, and Micky Orozco finished with 112 points.

Stetson Sedberry finished with 109 points, while JC Orozco finished with 106 points, and Richard Lewallen finished 101 points. Richard Orozco finished with 98 points, while Shaun Lewallen finished with 96 points, and Larry Ashley and Dwight Lewallen each finished with 93 points.

Susan Haney finished with 85 points, while Robin Neinast finished with 60 points, Elisardo Cueto finished with 58 points and Martin Duran finished with 51 points. Marcelino Castillo rounded out the field with 44 points.
