Waiver of Jury Trial

On Dec. 17, 2024, Maria San Garza, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Driving While Intoxicated BAC >=0.15, that occurred on July 17, 2024.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 100 days confinement in the Lamb County Jail, but the Sentence of Confinement was suspended, and the defendant was placed on Community Supervision for two years.

She is ordered to pay fines in the amount of $100, Restitution in the amount of $60, Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $15 and Court Costs in the amount of $270.

On Dec. 16, 2024, Victor Alvarez, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Interfere W/Emergency Req for Assistance, that occurred on Oct. 8, 2023.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 90 days confinement in the Lamb County Jail. He was credited with 413 days towards incarceration, fines and cost.

He is ordered to pay Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $15 and Court Costs in the amount of $270.

On Dec. 17, 2024, Oscar Lee Sanchez, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Criminal Trespass, that occurred on Nov. 3, 2024.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 45 days confinement in the Lamb County Jail. He was credited with 45 days of jail time credit towards incarceration, fines and cost.

He is ordered to pay Court Costs in the amount of $270.

On Nov. 5, 2024, Juan Carlos Salas Ontiveros, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Interfere W/Emergency Req for Assistance, that occurred on May 19, 2024.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 4 days confinement in the Lamb County Jail. He was credited with 4 days towards incarceration, fines and cost.

He is ordered to pay Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $15 and Court Costs in the amount of $270.

DEFERREDADJUDICATION

On Dec. 17, 2024, Megan Lee Capers entered a guilty plea to the offense of Theft of Prop >=$750<$2,500, that occurred on April 4, 2024. The defendant was placed on deferred Adjudication Community Supervision for 1 year.

She also has to pay Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $15 and $270 in court costs.

On Dec. 17, 2024, Megan Lee Capers entered a guilty plea to the offense of Terroristic Threat Cause Fear of Imminent SBI, that occurred on April 4, 2024. The defendant was placed on deferred Adjudication Community Supervision for 1 year.

She also has to pay Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $15 and $270 in court costs.

On Nov. 27, 2024, Nathan Cory Green-Reyna entered a guilty plea to the offense of Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Member, that occurred on March 20, 2024. The defendant was placed on deferred Adjudication Community Supervision for 1 year.

He also has to pay Fines in the amount of $100, Restitution in the amount of $50, Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $365 and $270 in court costs.

Motion to Dismiss

On Thursday, January 2, 2025, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Jonathon Lee Espinoza, for the reason: “Plea Bargain – plea in CCR-18253 with punishment assessed.”

The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on Janaury 2, 2025, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby Dismissed.

On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Hugo Perez, for the reason: “it best serves the interests of Justice.”

The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on December 18, 2024, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby Dismissed.

On Monday, December 16, 2024, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Victor Alvarez, for the reason: “Plea Bargain – plea in APJ DCR-6270-22, DCR-6405-23 and CCR-18156.”

The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on December 16, 2024, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby Dismissed.
