College Football’s Bowl season is here and with that comes the first year of the 12-team college football play-off.
This year’s Bowl Pick-Em Challenge will look a little bit different, with the new college football postseason format.
You will have to pick the teams you think will move through the bracket and make their way to the National Championship Game.
The first round match-ups are Indiana at Notre Dame; SMU at Penn State; Clemson at Texas and Tennessee at Ohio State.
The four teams receiving a firstround bye to the Quarterfinals are; Arizona State, Oregon, Boise State and Georgia.
In addition, you will also pick who you think will win the smaller Bowl games that will be played over the next few weeks.
The College Football Play-off Committee will be selecting the play-off teams and telling us where they will be seeding and who will have first round byes on Sunday, Dec. 8th.
Currently, the Post- season schedule is as follows: Dec. 14th South Alabama and Western Michigan are set to play in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama.
Jackson State and South Carolina State are set to play in the Cricket Celebration Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dec 17th #25 Memphis and West Virginia are set to play in the Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl in Frisco, Texas.
Dec. 18th Western Kentucky and James Madison are set to play in the Boca Raton Bowl in Boca Raton, Florida and California and UNLV are set to play in the Art of Sports LA Bowl in Inglewood, Calif.
Dec. 19th Georgia Southern and Sam Houston State are set to play in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dec. 20th Ohio and Jacksonville State are set to play in the StaffDNA Cure Bowl in Orlando, Fl.; Tulane and Florida will square off in the Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl in Tampa, Fl. and #7 Notre Dame will host #10 Indiana in one of the CFP First Round Games at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana.
Dec. 21st #6 Penn State will host #11 SMU in one of the CFP First Round Games at Beaver Stadium in State College, Pennslvania; #5 Texas will host #12 Clemson in one of the CFP First Round Games at DKR Memorial Stadium in Austin, TX, and #8 Ohio State will host #9 Tennessee in one of the CFP First Round Games at the Horseshoe in Columbus, Ohio.
Dec. 23rd Coastal Carolina and UTSA are set to play in the Myrtle Beach Bowl in Conway, S.C. and Northern Illinois and Fresno State are going to play in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise, Id.
Dec. 24th South Florida and San Jose State are going to square off in the Hawaii Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Dec. 26th Pittsburgh and Toledo will play in the GameAbove Sports Bowl at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan; Rutgers and Kansas State will square off in the Rate Bowl at Chase Field in Phoenix, Ariz. and Arkansas Sate and Bowling Green will battle in the 68 Ventures Bowl in Mobile, Ala.
Dec. 27th Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt will battle in the Birmingham Bowl in Birmingham, Ala.; Oklahoma and Navy will play in the Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth, Texas; Texas Tech and Arkansas will square off in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tenn.; Texas A&M and USC will battle in the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Syracuse and Washington State will square off in the DirecTV Holiday Bowl in San Diego, Calif.
Dec. 28th North Carolina and UConn will battle in the Wasabi Fenway Bowl at Fenway Park in Boston, Mass.; Boston College and Nebraska will square off in the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium in Bronx, N.Y.; Louisiana and TCU will play in the Isleta New Mexico Bowl in Albuguerque, N.M.; Iowa State and Miami will battle in the Pop Tarts Bowl at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL.; Miami (OH) and Colorado State will battle in the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl in Tucson, Ariz.; East Carolina and NC State will play in the Go Bowling Military Bowl in Annapolis, Md.; BYU and Colorado will take part in the Alamo Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, and Marshall and Army will play in the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl in Shreveport, La.
Dec 30th Iowa and Missouri will play in the Music City Bowl at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn.
Dec. 31st Alabama and Michigan will play in the ReliaQuest Bowl in Tampa, FL.; Louisville and Washington will play in the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas; South Carolina and Illinois will battle in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL.; Baylor and LSU will play in the Kinder’s Texas Bowl at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, and Boise State will play the winner of SMU and Penn State at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona.
Jan. 1st #4 Arizona State will play the winner of Texas and Clemson at the Peach Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia; #1 Oregon will play the winner of Ohio State and Tennessee at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. and #2 Georgia will play the winner of Notre Dame and Indiana at the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, La.
Jan 2nd Duke and Ole Miss will square off at the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, FL.
Jan. 3rd North Texas and Texas State will play in the SERVEPRO First Responder Bowl in Dallas, Texas, and Minnesota and Virginia Tech will play in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl in Charlotte, N.C.
Jan. 4th Buffalo and Liberty will play in the Bahamas Bowl in Nassau, Bahamas.
Jan. 9th CFP Semifinal game at the Orange Bowl in Miami Gardens, FL, TBA.
Jan. 10th CFP Semifinal game at the Cotton Bowl in Arlington, Texas, TBA.
Jan. 20th CFPNational Championship Presented by AT&T at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, TBA.
Each of the lower tier Bowl games will be worth one point; the First Round play-off games will be worth five points; second round play-off games will be worth five points, Semi-Final Games will be worth 10 points each and the National Championship game will be worth 20 points.
