Littlefield Student Council and NJHS sponsored a canned food drive at Littlefield Junior High for the Food Pantry at the Littlefield Methodist Church.
They collected over 1,000 cans for the Littlefield Methodist Churches’ Food Pantry over three weeks.
The office made weekly and then daily announcements to get the competition heated up and keep it going. Sixth grade was ahead until the last few dayswhen seventh and eighth grade stepped up and then it was back and forth with seventh grade winning by 12 cans.
The seventh grade will have a fun afternoon planned for them after they return from Thanksgiving Break.
