Happy November Friends!
We had a spooktacular October, and we hope you did as well. We had a family movie night and made crafts with some dear friends. We hosted a “Survive the Night Teen Night” with a costume contest. And on Halloween we had several games set up for our trick-ortreaters along with candy and goodies. It was a blast getting into the beginning of the holiday season. We are now having our 2nd annual Sock Drive. With the colder weather finally upon us, this basic necessity is an often overlooked item at donation placing such as the Salvation Army. We aim to make a difference and urge you to donate a pair of NEW, packaged socks. You can bring your donation to the library.
Through the month of November, every Thursday night we will be hosting Kids Connect. Thursday, Nov. 7th will be Craft Night, Nov. 14, Game Night and Nov. 21, Craft Night. Some of your local high school students will be here, from 6 to 8pm, waiting to connect with your kiddos with family friendly games and crafts. All ages welcome.
The Library will be closed on Saturday, Nov. 9 and Monday, Nov. 11 to honor Veteran’s Day. The Library will also be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 through Saturday, Nov. 30 for Thanksgiving.
Lastly, don’t forget to save the date! December 6th for our annual Lamb County Christmas Bash! There will be vendors, food trucks, music and entertainment, a lighted parade and open house at the library. We can’t wait to see y’all there!!
