Littlefield Methodist Church is inviting anyone to join them for a free Thanksgiving Day Meal on Nov. 28th from 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
The event will take place at the Littlefield Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, located at 700 W. 14th Street. It will be dine-in only.
For the first time, Littlefield Methodist Church has decided to serve a Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving Day to its community.
The goal is to provide a meal to those less fortunate who may not have a holiday meal on Thanksgiving Day, and in doing so also minister to them for Jesus Christ.
They plan to prepare food for 300 people and will serve smoked turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, green beans, corns, gravy, rolls and pie.
In order to make this happen they’re seeking donations. If you would like to help with donating some of these food items or provide wood to cook the turkeys, it would be greatly appreciated. Of course, monetary donations are always helpful.
