The 2024 Amherst Homecoming King and Queen were crowned prior to the Bulldogs Homecoming Game on Friday against Patton Springs, where the Bulldogs were victorious, 49-0. The Homecoming King was Kevin Garcia, who is the son of Gustavo Garcia and Janeth Torres. Kevin has two siblings, Joel Garcia and Damian Garcia. He has been involved in Football, FFA, Basketball, Track, Student Council, Stock show, and NHS. His future plans are to attend SPC to study Weldingengineering. The Homecoming Queen was America Pacheco, who is the daughter of Diana and Jesus Pacheco. America has two siblings, Guillermo Pacheco and Jesus Pacheco. She has been involved in Cheer, Track, Basketball, Cross Country, FFA, Student Council, One Act Play, and NHS. Her future plans are to attend Amarillo College.
