Deadline to register to vote is October 7, 2024

Monday, October 7, 2024, is the deadline to register to vote for the November 5, 2024 General Election.

Lamb County residents who are not currently registered to vote, and who wish to vote in any of the elections, must file their paper work in the County Voter Registrar’s Office (Tax Assessor-Collector’s Office) in the Lamb County Courthouse, by 5 p.m. Monday, October 7th. You may also register online to the Texas Secretary of State’s website at www.votetexas.gov for more information and to download a voter registration form.

Also, if a person has moved or changed names since the last election, they need to change their address at the registrar’s office or online, by 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7th.

Early voting in person will begin at the Lamb County Courthouse- County Clerk’s Office located at 100 6th Dr. Rm 103, beginning Monday, Oct. 21, 2024 through Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will also take place Monday, Oct. 28, 2024, through Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Early voting will also be available Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Applications for Ballot by mail shall be mailed to: Rene Trevino 100 6th Dr. Rm 103 Littlefield, Tx., 79339 Applications for Ballots by Mail (ABBMs) must be received no later than the close of business on Oct. 25, 2024.

Federal Post Card Applications (FPCAs) must be received no later than the close of business on Oct. 21, 2024.

On election day, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. November 5, 2024.
