The 44th annual Sandhills Celebration began on Wednesday, July 31st and will continue through Saturday, August 3rd.
On Thursday, August 1st, the Olton Sandhills Sweeheart Pageant will take place at the Olton High School Auditorium.
On Friday, August 2nd, Class Reunions will be held at various places and times ( check www.oltonchamber.org/sandhills for more detailed information.
CLASS OF 1969 T h e 55th reunion for the class of 1969 will meet at The Home Place on Friday, August 2, 2024 during the annual Sandhills Celebration! Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. with a meal to be served at 6 p.m. Saturday the class will ride in the Sandhills parade and meet at the Lions Club Building afterwards. CLASS OF 1979 The class of 1979 will be meeting this year to celebrate our 45th reunion. Kody and Harlan Carson have graciously invited us to meet at their place, the old “Olton Auto” shop, at 6 p.m. on Friday night for dinner.
CLASS OF 1989 The OHS class of 1989 is having it’s 35th reunion on August 2nd and 3rd at the Haven. Family and friends are invited to stop by on Friday evening for dessert, coffee and visiting. Class members will ride in the parade on Saturday morning and then get together on Saturday night for dinner catered by Rejinos. The Olton Volunteer Ambulance Association will be at the Pavilion serving hamburgers at 6 p.m. and the Volleyball Tournament at Stiles Park will begin at 6 p.m. as well. Contact Lety Jimenez at (806) 869-6103 for more information.
A bake sale benefiting the Olton Sandcrawl Museum with a Premier Cake & Auction will take place at 6:30 p.m. before the dance.
The Dance will be from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. featuring music by DJ Ferly.
On Saturday, August 3rd, the Band Boosters will be sponsoring a breakfast at the Cafeteria from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
At 10 a.m., Arts and Crafts and Food booths will open up at the Pavilion until 11 p.m. Vendor set up begins at 8 a.m.

The Olton Volunteer Ambulance Association will be serving hamburgers at the Pavilion at noon and at 1 p.m. the Golf Scramble at the Olton Country Club will begin. Stop by the Pro Shop to sign up.

A dance from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. will close out the celebration with entertainment provided by Curtis Grimes.
*Raffle Tickets will be on sale every day. The raffle drawings for the Woofhouse Spa Gift Card, Generator, Fire Pit, and Olton Bucks will be held at the Saturday night dance starting at 8 p.m. every 30 minutes at the Pavilion.
