The Commissioners Court of Lamb County met in regular session in the Lamb County Courthouse on Monday July 22nd to discuss an eight-item agenda.
Lamb County Judge James DeLoach called the meeting to order and there was nobody who requested to speak during the Public Comment portion of the meeting. Consent agenda items: (a) Consider and take appropriate action on minutes from previous meeting(s); Regular Meeting June 24, 2024 and July 8, 2024.
(b) Consider and take appropriate action on budget and salary amendments and/or line item transfers, as presented by Gina Jones.
(c) Consider and take appropriate action on bills presented by the County Auditor, Gina Jones.
(d) Consider and take appropriate action on payroll; Jerry Yarbrough.
(e) Consider and take appropriate action on departmental reports.
The Motion was made by Commissioner Lee Logan and seconded by Commissioner Cory DeBerry to approve the consent agenda items. The motion carried.
Item number four on the agenda was to consider and take appropriate action on a buried water line in Precinct #2.
The motion was made by Commissioner Kent Lewis and seconded by Commissioner Logan to approve the buried water line in Precinct #2. The motion carried.
The next order of business was to consider and take appropriate action on Burn ban.
No action was taken. Future agenda items were discussed.
Item number seven was a Budget work session.
With there being no further business to come before this Commissioners Court, motion was made by Commissioner Logan and seconded by Commissioner Lewis to adjourn. The vote being called for and all voting Aye, the motion carried and the meeting was adjourned.
