Waiver of Jury Trial

On May 6, 2024, Johnny Joe Galan, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Interfer w/Public Duties, that occurred on Aug. 17, 2023.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to nine days confinement in the County Jail. The defendant was give nine days of total jail time credit to go towards incarceration, fines and court costs.

He is ordered to pay Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $350 and Court Costs in the amount of $270.

On April 9, 2024, Michael Robert Flores-Kershaw, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Robbery, that occurred on Oct. 27, 2023.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to eight years TDCJ, Correctional Institutions Division, but the sentence of confinement was suspended, defendant placed on Community Supervision for eight years.

On April 3, 2024, Jose Guadalupe Robledo, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Unauth Use of Vehicle, that occurred on Nov. 26, 2023.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 90 days in the County Jail VIA 12.44. The defendant was give 130 days of total jail time credit to go towards incarceration, fines and court costs.

On April 3, 2024, Jose Guadalupe Robledo, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Fraud Use/Poss Identifying Info #Items 5<10, that occurred on Nov. 26, 2023.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to six years TDCJ, Correctional Institutions Division. The defendant was give 130 days of total jail time credit to go towards incarceration, fines and court costs.

He is ordered to pay Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $665 and Court Costs in the amount of $290.

On April 3, 2024, Jose Guadalupe Robledo, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Tamper/Fabricate Phys Evid w/Intent to Impair, that occurred on Nov. 26, 2023.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to six years TDCJ, Correctional Institutions Division. The defendant was give 130 days of total jail time credit to go towards incarceration, fines and court costs.

He is ordered to pay Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $165 and Court Costs in the amount of $290.

DEFERRED ADJUDICATION 

On May 6, 2024, Crystal Ortiz entered a guilty plea to the offense of Asault Causes Bodily Injury Family Member, that occurred on June 6, 2023. The defendant was placed on deferred Adjudication Community Supervision for one year.

He also has to pay a fine of $100, Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $50 and $270 in court costs.

Motion to Dismiss

On Monday, May 6, 2024, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Johnny Joe Galan JR, for the reason: “Plea Bargain – plea in CCR-18144 with punishment assessed.”

The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on May 6th 2024, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore, Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby Dismissed.
