Waiver of Jury Trial
On Nov. 1, 2023, Ruben Soto Jr., entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Assault Family/Household Member Prev Conv IAT, that occurred on Nov. 8, 2021.
The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to six years and six months TDCJ, Correctional Institutions Division. He was given 250 days of total jail time credit towards incarceration, fine and costs.

On Nov. 15, 2023, Santiago Quintero Garcia, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Lesser Included Offense Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Member, that occurred on June 12, 2023.
The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 180 days confinement in the County Jail, but the sentence of confinement was suspended, defendant placed on community supervision for two years.

On Jan. 9, 2024, Christine Regina Cristan-Balderas, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Resist Arrest Search or Transport, that occurred on June 17, 2023.
The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 45 days confinement in the County Jail. She was given 207 days of total jail time credit towards incarceration, fine and costs.
She is ordered to pay Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $350 and Court Costs in the amount of $270.
On March 8, 2022, Christine Regina Cristan-Balderas, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Resist Arrest Search or Transport, that occurred on Oct. 22, 2020.
The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 60 days confinement in the County Jail, but the sentence of confinement was suspended, defendant placed on community supervision for 15 months.
She is ordered to pay Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $350 and Court Costs in the amount of $270.
Rey David Conzuelo-Tapia, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Driving While Intoxicated BAC >=0.15, that occurred on Sept. 10, 2022.
The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to one day confinement in the County Jail. He was given one day of total jail time credit towards incarceration, fine and costs.
He is ordered to pay Fines in the amount of $600, Restitution in the amount of $60 and Court Costs in the amount of $270.
On Jan. 18, 2024, William Depaz Pleitez-Diaz, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Criminal Trespass, that occurred on Dec. 10, 2023.
The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was given a fine only.
He is ordered to pay a fine in the amount of $ 1 and Court Costs in the amount of $270.
Motion to Dismiss
On Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Major Angelo Munoz, for the reason: “It best serves the interests of justice” and “Other: The Defendant has been found incompetent to stand trial in Cause No. DC-2022-CR0100, but is likely restorable. Based on the amount of time restoration is estimated to take, the State feels it is in the best interests of justice to dismiss this Cause.”
The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on the 9th day of January, A. D. 2024, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby Dismissed.
On Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Victor Rene Yebra- Cleto, for the reason: “The Defendant has entered into a pre-trial diversion/intervention agreement.”
The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on the 4th day of January, A. D. 2024, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby Dismissed.
Discharging Supervision
On Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, a request from the District Attorney’s office about a case on Kasey Kane Delafuente, the judge’s response was: “On this the 17th day of January 2024, came on to be considered the matter of determining whether or not the finding heretofore entered in this cause against the defendant, Kasey Kane Delafuente, should be set aside and the defendant discharged from Community Supervision, and it appearing to the Court that said the defendant did, on the 19th day of January, 2023, plead Nolo Contendere to the misdemeanor offense of Possession of Marijuana <2oz, and adjudication of the presecution against him was deferred under conditions of Community Supervision for a term of twelve (12) months; and “It further appearing to the Court that the defendant has completed all of the original supervision period, with all conditions of Community Supervision having been satisfactorily fulfilled; “It is therefore Ordered, Adjudged, and Decreed by the Court that the Defendant’s Nolo Contendere and ensuing Community Supervision under deferred adjudication heretofore granted to the Defendant, Kasey Kane Delafuente, be and the same are hereby set aside, and the charge against the Defendant is hereby dismissed; and” “ It is further Ordered, Adjudged, and Decreed by the Court that the Defendant, Kasey Kane Delafuente, be and he is hereby released and discharged from all penalties and disabilities resulting from the crime or offense of which he has been granted Community Supervision under deferred adjudication, except that proof of said plea shall be known to the Court should the Defendant be convicted of any criminal offense.”
ADJUDICATING GUILT
Kenneth Collins entered a True Plea to a Motion to Adjudicate the State Jail Felony charge of Theft Prop >=$1,500<$20K, that occurred on Sept. 3, 2013. He was sentenced to 300 days State Jail Division, TDCJ. He was given 306 days of total jail time credit.
He is also ordered to pay $486 for Accrued Fines, $100 for Accrued Court Costs, Accrued Restitution in the amount of $3,102 and New Reimbursement fees in the amount of $500.
