Commissioners to meet Monday

A meeting of the Lamb County Commissioners’ Court will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, in the Lamb County Courthouse, where an 11–item agenda will be considered for appropriate action.

After the Call to order, the public may request to make a public comment on any of the agenda items. (3 minutes max) The items listed as “Consent Agenda Items” require no deliberation by the Court. Each Court member has the prerogative of removing an item from that agenda, so that it may be considered separately.

The six Consent Agenda items to be considered are: a) Consider and take appropriate action on minutes from previous meeting(s). b) Consider and take appropriate action on budget and salary amendments and/or line-item transfers; c) Consider and take appropriate action on bills presented by the County Auditor; d) Consider and take appropriate action on payroll; e) Consider and take appropriate action on departmental reports. f) consider and take appropriate action on Tax Deed 17592; 4. Consider and take appropriate action on Lease Purchase of a motor grader for Precinct 4; 5. Consider and take appropriate action on Policy revisions for Public Assistance; 6. Consider and take appropriate action on Judge and Poll workers, Early Voting Ballot Board workers and Central Counting Station Workers for 3/5/2024 Primary Election; 7. Consider and take appropriate action on Racial Profiling to be Submitted by Sheriff G. Maddox; 8. Consider and take appropriate action on Joint Resolution and Statistical info Joint Primary Election services and contracts for Republicans and Democrats and Notice of Primary Election; 9. Discuss Lamb Healthcare Center operations; 10. Future agenda items; 11. Adjournment.
