DEFERREDADJUDICATION
On Oct. 25, 2023, Nadia Renee Briseno Jianisirat entered a guilty plea to the offense of Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Member, that occurred on Feb. 2, 2023. The defendant was placed on deferred Adjudication Community Supervision for 18 months.
She also has to pay a fine of $100 and $270 in court costs.
Discharging Supervision
On Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023, a request from the District Attorney’s office about a case on Ray Matias Sandoval, the judge’s response was: “On this the 26th day of October 2023, came on to be considered the matter of determining whether or not the finding heretofore entered in this cause against the defendant, Ray Matias Sandoval, should be set aside and the defendant discharged from Community Supervision, and it appearing to the Court that said the defendant did, on the 27th day of October, 2021, plead Guilty to the misdemeanor offense of Poss Marij <2oz, and further proceedings having been suspended under conditions of Community Supervision for a term of two (2) years; and “It further appearing to the Court that the defendant has completed all of the original supervision period, with all conditions of Community Supervision having been satisfactorily fulfilled; “It is therefore ordered that the community supervision of Ray Matias Sandoval, is terminated and he is discharged there from.”
On Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, a request from the District Attorney’s office about a case on Dustin Joel Rosa, the judge’s response was: “On this the 29th day of November 2023, came on to be considered the matter of determining whether or not the finding heretofore entered in this cause against the defendant,Dustin Joel Rosa, should be set aside and the defendant discharged from Community Supervision, and it appearing to the Court that said the defendant did, on the 1st day of December, 2021, plead Guilty to the misdemeanor offense of Assault Causes Bodily Injury, and further proceedings having been suspended under conditions of Community Supervision for a term of two (2) years; and “It further appearing to the Court that the defendant has completed all of the original supervision period, with all conditions of Community Supervision having been satisfactorily fulfilled; “It is therefore ordered that the community supervision of Dustin Joel Rosa, is terminated and he is discharged there from.”
On Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, a request from the District Attorney’s office about a case on Alyssa Salazar, the judge’s response was: “On this the 16th day of November 2023, came on to be considered the matter of determining whether or not the finding heretofore entered in this cause against the defendant, Alyssa Salazar, should be set aside and the defendant discharged from Community Supervision, and it appearing to the Court that said the defendant did, on the 17th day of November, 2022, plead Guilty to the misdemeanor offense of Assault Causes Bodily Injury, and further proceedings having been suspended under conditions of Community Supervision for a term of one (1) year; and “It further appearing to the Court that the defendant has completed all of the original supervision period, with all conditions of Community Supervision having been satisfactorily fulfilled; “It is therefore ordered that the community supervision of Alyssa Salazar, is terminated and he is discharged there from.”
Order of Dimsmissal on Deferred Adjudication
On Nov. 6, 2023, the Assistant County Attorney of Lamb County, Texas and respectfully requests this Court to dismiss the above styled and numbered cause for the reason that defendant successfully completed the term of probation ordered by the Court in saide Cause.
Wherefore Premises Considered the undersigned prays for an order of dismissal of the above cause.
The Judge’s order of dismissal states: “On this the 6th day of November, A.D. 2023, came on to be heard and considered the motion of the Assistant County Attorney of Lamb County, Texas to dismiss the above styled and numbered Cause, and it appearing that such motion should be granted, it is accordingly Ordered, Adjudged, and Decreed by the court that the above styled and numbered Cause be dismissed, and that the defendant, Sally Estelle Nichols, be discharged.”
