The annual Lamb County Sheriff’s Office “Christmas for Kids” Toy Drive is going on right now.
The Sheriff’s Office will begin to take applications for their annual “Christmas for Kids” toy drive starting Monday Nov. 20, 2023. The deadline for the applications is Friday Dec. 15, 2023.
The distribution of the toys will be Thursday Dec. 21st and Friday Dec. 22nd.
Last year (2022), through the kindness of our county, friends, and donors the sheriff’s office was gifted over 1,100 toys. This aided in helping 65 families and over 174 children in Lamb County.
Applications may also be picked up at the Lamb County Sheriff’s office OR at any local bank in Amherst, Sudan, Olton, Littlefield and Earth. It must be completed fully and returned to the Lamb County Sheriff’s Office. located at 1200 east Waylon Jennings Blvd in Littlefield.
This is for children 0-10 in age. Guardians must have ID and must be able to show proof of Lamb County residency.
Donation boxes have been place at several establishments and banks around the county. If your business would like to participate by hosting a donation box please contact the Lamb Sheriff’s Office at 806-385-7900.

McDonald’s, First United Bank, Ace Hardware, First Bank and Trust, Wellington State Bank, Gebo’s, Courthouse lobby, Lowe’s, United Supermarket, Prosperity Bank, Dollar General, First Federal Bank, Littlefield Chevrolet/ Buick/ GMC, Family Dollar and Taco Bell.
OLTON

Also, the Sheriff’s Office Annual Christmas for Kids Pie Fundraiser that is held at the McDonald’s in Littlefield has tentatively been scheduled for Dec. 13th, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
All proceeds from pie sales will go towards the toy drive.
