Flatland Street Dance to be held on July 14

The Flatland Music Festival announced Tuesday morning that they will be holding a Flatland Street Dance on Friday, July 14th from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. The event will have free fun and live music for the whole family, featuring Touch of Soul music group.

Chamber of Commerce Parade set for July 15

The Littlefield Chamber of Commerce Parade is set for Saturday, July 15th, at 10 a.m. as part of the Flatland Music Festival. Sign-ups are being taken now for the parade; patriotic themes are always encouraged, but anything that is family friendly and appropriate will be accepted into the parade.

Commissioners to meet Tuesday

A meeting of the Lamb County Commissioners’ Court will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2023, in the Lamb County Courthouse, where a 9—item agenda will be considered for appropriate action. After the Call to order, the public may request to make a public comment on any of the agenda items.

LHC Board of Managers holds regular meeting Tuesday

The Lamb County Hospital’s Board of Managers held their regular meeting Tuesday during lunch in the Education Room of Lamb Healthcare Center. The meeting was called to order at 12 p.m. by Board President Carla Synatschk and the invocation was given by Evan Maxwell.

Walter’s World of Pets visits the Lamb County Library

Once again Walter’s World of Pets brought a variety of critters to the Lamb County Library Summer Reading Program on Thursday, June 22, 2023. The theme for the week is Kindness to Animals. The selection of exotic animals included species who are not for sale as pets.

Paxton impeachment trial set for September

The Texas Senate gave unanimous support on Wednesday to a resolution ordering Attorney General Ken Paxton to appear before the body at 9 a.m. on Sept. 5 to answer charges of impeachment.
