Lamb Co. Library sets July schedule

Although the summer reading program is over for this year, the Lamb County Library is still keeping busy this month with their ongoing programs and new events. Below is the new July Library schedule. Creative Sprouts is back this summer and will meet on Wednesday mornings from 9 to 10 a.m.

Commissioners to meet Monday at 9 a.m.

A meeting of the Lamb County Commissioners’ Court will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2023, in the Lamb County Courthouse, where a 9 – item agenda will be considered for appropriate action. After the Call to order, the public may request to make a public comment on any of the agenda items.

The tiny town of Springlake, Texas hosted another successful 4th of July Celebration with a parade which lasted a full 30 minutes followed by a gathering of hundreds at the City Park. It has been a tradition for the community to celebrate Independence Day on July 4th, always.

Jett Hartley set to take over Wildcat Baseball Program

“The Judge” Jett Hartley made a name for himself during his playing days throwing people out on the bases from behind the dish at Wildcat Baseball Field. Now Hartley is ready to give back to the game he says has given him so much.
