49th Annual Runningwater Draw Arts & Craft Festival Set for October 20th, 21st & 22nd

The Plainview Rotary Club’s 49th Annual Running Water Draw Arts & Crafts Festival will be held at the Ollie Liner Center (2000 S. Columbia St.) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 20th, 21st and 22nd.

Sr. Citizens serving lunch on Wednesdays

The Lamb County Senior Citizens’ are back in business for Wednesday lunhes. On Wednesdays at noon, potluck meals are served, with members taking their favorite dish to share, or by paying a $6 lunch fee. The Center operates on donations of any amount.

Hockley County wreck results in one dead, two injured

On Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, at approximately 4:45 p.m. a one vehicle crash on US 62, six miles north of Ropesville in Hockley County resulted in two people injured and one deceased. A 2014 Isuzu Ascender was traveling southwest on US 62 in the inside westbound lane.
