November is here! We have started our monthly movie night give-a-way baskets. We have also begun planning for our Christmas festivities. We’ll have our annual lighted parade, followed immediately by our traditional open house at the library with free hot chocolate and cookies.

The average cost of a classic Thanksgiving dinner in Texas is slightly more expensive than a year ago, according to Farm Bureau’s annual price survey. The average cost of this year’s Thanksgiving feast for 10 in Texas is $61.89 or $6.19 per person. The average cost of the classic meal in the U.S.

The Littlefield Independent School District’s Board of Trustees met in regular session on Monday, Nov. 13th to discuss a 15item agenda. The meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. by Board President Pat Demel and the invocation was given by Lance Broadhurst.

The Lamb Healthcare Center Auxiliary will host the annual Bake Sale and Bazaar Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Atrium of the Lamb Healthcare Center, located at 1500 S. Sunset Avenue. Area residents are invited to join.
