Littlefield girl’s doubles team qualifies for Regionals

The Littlefield varsity tennis team competed at the District Tournament in Brownfield on April 12 and 13th, where the girl’s doubles team of Chloe Sawyer and Julie Bownds took second place in their division, qualifying them for Regionals which will take place on May 8th and 9th in Abilene.

State Sales Tax Revenue Totaled $3.8 Billion in March

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar today said state sales tax revenue totaled $3.78 billion in March, 5.8 percent more than in March 2023. The majority of March sales tax revenue is based on sales made in February and remitted to the agency in March.

Amherst Hamburger Fundraiser

There will be a Hamburger Fundraiser on Thursday, April 25th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Amherst City Park, located at 1st and Washington.The cost is $10 and all proceeds will be going towards the Community Park Project.
