2024 Texas Soil and Water Stewardship Week

Lamb Co. SWCD #130 has partnered with the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board (TSSWCB) and the Association of Texas Soil & Water Conservation Districts to highlight Soil and Water Stewardship Week and the importance of voluntary land stewardship in Texas.

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) Executive Director, Cary Hanlin, in Lamb County reminds foreign investors with an interest in agricultural land in the United States that they are required to report their land holdings and transactions to USDA.

Earth to Celebrate 100th Anniversary

Earth is having a celebration honoring it’s 100th anniversary on Saturday, June 15th.Activities will begin at 10 a.m. with a parade down Main Street and will continue to the Rodeo Grounds. There will be a brief history of the town and displays about different people from the area.
