Commissioners hold regular meeting Friday

The Commissioners Court of Lamb County held their regular meeting on Friday at the Lamb County Courthouse located in Littlefield.The meeting was called to order at 10:05 a.m. by Lamb County Judge James DeLoach and he also gave the invocation.

Angelo State University releases Dean’s List

Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, has announced the students achieving the Dean’s List for the 2024 spring semester.To be eligible for the ASU Dean’s List, full-time undergraduate students must maintain a 3.25 or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

On May 6th, 2024, Mayor Eric Turpen declared it Retha McCarty Williams Day. A day to not only celebrate 80 years of life, but also to honor the woman who has become a staple in Littlefield for her service to the community and her faithfulness to her church, Irving Street Baptist Church.
