The Patient Care Technician Class is a seniors only class offered at Littlefield High School that began being offered in 2020.The class is taught by Jenna Ozbirn, MSN, RN.“We began the Health Science program, specifically the Patient Care Technician class, in 2020,” Ozbirn said.

The Amherst Bulldogs’ varsity football team traveled to Dawson on Thursday to take on the Dragons. The game was called at halftime, after the second quarter had to be finished with teams playing four on four due to Dawson running out of healthy players. The Bulldogs took the contest, 30-0.

In recognition of Child Passenger Safety Week, which runs Sept. 15-20, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is reminding drivers to educate themselves on the best child safety seat practices in order to keep our state’s youngest passengers safe on the road.
