A meeting of the Lamb County Commissioners’ Court will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, in the Lamb County Courthouse, where a 6–item agenda will be considered for appropriate action.After the Call to order, the public may request to make a public comment on any of the agenda items.

Plains Cotton Growers Inc. (PCG) adamantly opposes any supplemental spending package that abstains from providing meaningful short-term assistance to farmers.Cotton producers will lose as much as $300 per acre on this year’s harvest due to soaring production costs and low market prices.

Annual Water Level Measurements Begins January 2nd

Field Technicians will begin annual water level measurements in observation wells on January 2, 2025, to determine the changes since last year. Measurements will begin in Castro, Deaf Smith, and Parmer Counties.
