Commissioners to meet Monday

A meeting of the Lamb County Commissioners’ Court will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, in the Lamb County Courthouse, where a 6–item agenda will be considered for appropriate action.After the Call to order, the public may request to make a public comment on any of the agenda items.

Holiday hours and closings around town

UNITED SUPERMARKETS The United Family wants to remind guests across its areas of operations that all stores will close early (7:00 p.m.) on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24. All locations will be closed on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25.

School Board holds regular meeting Monday

The Littlefield Independent School District’s Board of Trustees met in regular session Monday at noon to discuss an 18-item agenda.

Since 2006, Cotton Incor-porated’s Blue Jeans Go Green program has collected denim (made from cotton) so it can be recycled back to its original fiber state and transformed into something new.
