Senior Citizens Center hosting meals on Weds.

The Lamb County Senior Citizens’ Center will re-open for noon lunches Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 211 Phelps Avenue in downtown Littlefield.Those attending are invited to take food in covered dishes, to share with others, or by a donation to the center.Doors to the center will open at 10 a.m.

Lamb County Commissioners to meet Monday morning

A meeting of the Lamb County Commissioners’ Court will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2026, in the Lamb County Courthouse, where an 8—item agenda will be considered for appropriate action.After the Call to order, the public may request to make a public comment on any of the agenda items.

Starting next week, sending a letter through the United States Postal Service (USPS) will cost more as the agency raises postage prices for several mailing services.Beginning July 12, the price of a First-Class Mail Forever stamp will increase from 78 cents to 82 cents.
