USDA Announces Sweeping Plans to Protect the United States from New World Screwworm

– U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins at the Texas State Capitol alongside Governor Greg Abbott and stakeholders from across the country announced the largest initiative yet in the U. S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) plan to combat the New World Screwworm (NWS).

2025 Community Revival set for August 20st-22nd

A 2025 Community Revival will be held on August 20th to the 22nd at New Hope Baptist Church in Amherst, located at 300 Jefferson Sreet.The sponsor churches are Irvin Street First Baptist Church, New Jerusalem Baptist Church, St. John Baptist Church, Peace Deliverance and Macedonia Baptist Church.

Littlefield ISD updates cell phone policy to comply with HB 1481

Recently, House Bill 1481 was signed into law by Governor Abbott, banning cell phones in Texas Schools. This law prohibits the use of cell phones, smartwatches, and other non-instructional communication devices during the school day in classrooms from kindergarten to 12th grade.

LHS to Give Tours of New High School Tuesday, August 19
