War on 84

The Littlefield and Muleshoe booster clubs have been exchanging proceeds of the War on 84 tee shirts since 2018. The proceeds are combined between both towns and given to someone local who is experiencing a medical challenge. When purchasing a War on 84 shirt each year, please consider choosing the Muleshoe or Littlefield Booster Club and let’s continue to work for a great cause. This year, the proceeds from the tee shirt sales, in the combined amount from Littlefield and Muleshoe, totaling $1500 is going to April Espinoza, who is currently battling breast cancer. April’s journey began when she found a lump in her left breast, June 2024. She had a mammogram in January 2025 and a biopsy which came back positive for Triple Negative Invasive Mammary Carcinoma Ductal Stage 3. She began with 19 rounds of chemotherapy beginning February of this year. On September 29 th , she had a double mastectomy surgery and is now in the recovery stage. The surgery went as good as could be expected but unfortunately doctors were unable to get all the cancer. April is now enduring 5 weeks of daily radiation and continuing the chemotherapy treatments. This chapter of her journey has by far been the hardest she has been through but, she states, “God is Good and I know my testimony will be a great one!” April would like to say thank you to Brad Heffington and the Booster Clubs along with her family and all her supporters.
