Volunteers are working on a project to benefit the residents of Arbor Grace Wellness Center

Meylin Ayala and Jimmy Lopez of Littlefield, are the proud parents of their new daughter, Leah Ayelen Lopez-Ayala.
She was born at 12:25 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2022 in Lamb Healthcare Center in Littlefield, weighing 6 lbs, 4 ozs., and measuring 19-1/2 inches tall.
Her grandparents are Irma Maria Sanchez and Maria Aidee Tervel.
Her great-grandparents are Jesus Lopez Lara and Edmundo Ayala. Nursing Home, and to welcome the new administrator, Rose Rendon.
Kathie Melton, the volunteer coordinator, is spearheading a four-phase fundraiser for the new “Memory Lane” courtyard at Arbor Grace Wellness Center, and anyone wishing to participate, or needs more information, is invited to contact her at 806-448-4790.
The first phase of the fundraiser is gathering donated clothing, the rest of the month of March, that will be sold to raise funding.
In April, the second phase will receive donated money for a memorial brick, with a loved one’s name on it.
The third phase in April and May, a Tax Credit Go Fund Me Fundraiser will be done.
The fourth phase will be an outdoor event from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, when entertainment and refreshments will honor contributors.
