The officers and members of the Lamb CountyVeterans Memorial committee would like to announce the annual Veterans Day memorial service. The service will be held on Sunday Nov 10th at 3:00 p.m.
The service will consist of Presentation of the Colors and recognition of the branches of service. Fr Church, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, will deliver the message. There will be a recognition of each branch of the military. At the completion of the service, we will adjourn to the Ag barn for fellowship and heavy hors d’oeuvres provided by United Supermarkets.
The memorial was established to recognize the men and women that entered service out of Lamb County or live in Lamb County. The committee encourages you to come early and explore the memorial, look for friends and family names on the monoliths. We also encourage you to plan to stay after for the reception in the Ag barn. The service will be outside so please dress for the weather and bring a chair or blanket to sit on the ground. The memorial is located on Hall Ave (Hwy 385) and E 16th street.
